Egypt: Dried Garlic Will Be Available in May

The fresh garlic season in Egypt is about to end, Yassin, the export manager of fresh agricultural product exporters in Egypt, said, "We are in the fresh garlic season and the condition of fresh garlic is better compared to dry garlic. However, we are doing well on both products. Our fresh green garlic season starts from the end of January and should continue until the end of April. Afterwards, in early May, the dry garlic season will begin. We expect the dry garlic season to continue until September

Although the national garlic production has decreased significantly, Yassin explained that the production of Stars of Export is expected to be higher than last year. This year, the garlic planting area in Egypt has decreased, and the yield has decreased by 30%, or even more. However, the weather is good, which means that the quality of garlic in Egypt is very good this year
